THE POSITION: ECOMMERCE COORDINATOR

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Ecommerce Coordinator with at least two years of ecommerce experience, ideally within the fashion industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution and a strong passion for sustainable fashion.

 

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Coordination

  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute seasonal and promotional campaigns, ensuring all assets are aligned across website, email, and social media.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular competitor reviews to monitor industry trends, assess pricing strategies, and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • UX Optimisation: Work with the Ecommerce Manager and developers to identify and implement user experience improvements to optimise the customer journey and drive conversions.
  • SEO Strategy: Develop and execute on-page SEO strategies, including keyword optimisation, meta descriptions, and page structure improvements to enhance search visibility.

Website and Product Management

  • Site Maintenance: Ensure the website is always up-to-date, visually appealing, and user-friendly, addressing technical issues promptly in collaboration with developers.
    Product and Content Management: Oversee product uploads, tagging, and categorisation, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
    Visual Merchandising: Manage product placement on the site based on performance, customer behaviour, and stock availability to maximise sales.
    New Collection Launches: Lead the preparation and execution of new product launches, including coordinating with design, production, and marketing teams.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis

  • Data Analysis: Analyse ecommerce KPIs (e.g., traffic, conversion rates, sales, average order value) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Sales and Discount Analysis: Plan and manage sales campaigns, and evaluate their performance post-event to inform future promotions.
  • Performance Reporting: Generate and present weekly and monthly performance reports, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders.

Marketing and Content Support

  • Digital Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to create and optimise email marketing campaigns, social media promotions, and paid advertising initiatives.
  • Content Creation: Develop and maintain engaging content for the website, aligning with brand guidelines and marketing goals.
  • Graphic Design Support: Create and manage website banners, email assets, and campaign visuals using Canva or other design tools.

Team and Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a key liaison between marketing, merchandising, customer service, and external agencies to ensure seamless execution of ecommerce initiatives.
  • Training and Mentoring: Support the development of junior team members or assistants by providing guidance and sharing best practices.

 

KEY ATTRIBUTES

Experience

  • At least 3 years experience in ecommerce/digital marketing, ideally within the fashion industry.
  • Hands-on expertise with Shopify Plus.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Canva, and SEO platforms.

Commercial Acumen

  • Strong analytical skills to leverage data for strategic decision-making and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and measure return on investment (ROI) for campaigns and initiatives.

Cultural Fit 

  • Passionate about sustainable fashion and aligned with Aspiga’s values.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is comfortable multitasking.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Proficiency in product, content, and inventory management systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and excellent numerical accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimisation techniques.
  • Copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail (desirable).

Interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
