Handcrafted in Kenya, the Mia sandals are an easy slip-on sandal featuring a gorgeous white coloured beaded detail. The soft padded sole gives extra comfort, while the small wedge heel adds height. Perfect for running about day to day without sacrificing on style!

The Mia Sandals are a part of our sustainable fashion collection: supporting local artisans keeping their craft alive and helping to maintain their livelihood.

Packaging

We are currently in the process of moving away from all plastic packaging therefore your sandals will now be sent within a gorgeous, colourful fabric bag.

The bags are made by Elimu Sewing Project in Kenya which supports young women from vulnerable backgrounds to pursue a 2-year training program which equips them with income-generating skills and a sewing trade.

(If you do happen to receive your sandals in a polybag, this is only due to having leftover stock from a previous shipment but rest assured, all our future shipments will be packaged in fabric bags.)

Composition

Our leather is only coloured using natural dyes.

100% genuine Leather (which is a byproduct of the meat industry)

Genuine tan leather upper and glass beads (not plastic to minimise the impact on the environment).

Care

These sandals are incredibly comfortable and will become your summer best friend, but at first, the leather may need to be worn in so it loosens up a bit to fit your foot.
We suggest you wear your sandals around the house and on some short outings before you set off on a long day out.
