Aspiga is based in South London in up and coming Battersea, super close to Battersea Park, we’ve got the scenery as well as a thriving business area. We are a small team made up of 10, and are a close-knit family all ready to help and chip in where necessary. We all share similar values for ethical fashion and making a conscious effort to helping the environment.

At Aspiga we are always on the look out for fresh new talent, resulting in hiring enthusiastic interns to come and experience the life inside Aspiga’s HQ. The internships we offer are ideal for students needing some valid experience or a work placement in order to complete their course. We are extremely flexible with the amount hours and length of the placement that is required, however we do strongly believe a 6 month placement is most beneficial to really see and feel the ins and outs of an expanding business.

STUDENT E-COMMERCE AND MARKETING INTERNSHIP

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are offering an exciting opportunity for Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Intern. This role is ideal for a student undertaking a degree in Marketing or similar. Here at Aspiga we are small, dynamic friendly team, and therefore you will have the chance to experience a wide variety of different work duties. There will be no time for making tea all day! You must be a committed hard worker, fashion lover, and a quick thinker. As well as, of course happy to get stuck in when your help may be needed!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Ecommerce website back end management (we use Magento) Creating and scheduling social media posts Assisting with all marketing campaigns Creating and researching marketing newsletter campaigns to send to our subscribers Contributing to blog posts Customer service tasks

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• How to create and upload new products to the website including SEO, URL setup etc.

• Adobe Photoshop essential skills

• General maintenance of the website, how to make any necessary changes and on going improvements

• Visual Merchandising of the site

• Creating and designing website banners

• Report and analysing website strategy to improve online growth

PROFILE

• Must have a strong interest in digital marketing preferably at degree level

• Excellent English – both written and spoken

• Polite and friendly telephone manners

• Love fashion and preferably ethical fashion

• Have experience with social channels

• Must be confident to work independently as well as in a team

• A quick learner with strong initiative

• Proactive

PART TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently searching for an eager individual to assist in our Customer Service Team. Your role at Aspiga, will not only challenge you but will support you through your journey of personal growth through coaching, a caring sharing culture and any future vocation development. We are a small passionate team. So it is a great place to get a true hands-on experience and learn lots about fashion and the world of retail. We’re looking for someone who is confident and friendly and has a passion for providing excellent customer service. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Handling telephone enquiries relating to products, orders, stock availability etc.

• Responding to customer emails

• Liaising with our warehouse team regarding orders

• Processing customer returns

• Logging and recording all customer service related activity

• Assisting with administrative tasks when appropriate

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be computer literate with experience using online software in a business environment. We use Magento.

• Must be fluent in English both written and spoken

• Interest in fashion is ideal

• Knowledge/awareness of online retail

• Must be customer friendly
