 THE POSITION: ECOMMERCE & DIGITAL MANAGER

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked for an SME Retailer to now work for a fast paced, growth business focused on ethical and sustainable fashion.

Aspiga is looking for an individual who will be instrumental in developing and implementing the Digital & Ecommerce Strategy, ensuring revenue and profit targets are met while delivering a best- in-class CX which reflects our ethical brand.

Working alongside the CEO, the Ecommerce & Digital Manager will be responsible for growing the online business globally by developing their team, managing agencies while setting market leading targets and delivering on these. You will be a commercial ecommerce professional with the ability to trade a website whilst also delivering relevant traffic, an inspiring onsite CX and YOY sales growth to reflect the ambitious goals of the business.

 

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the global website through Shopify Plus

  • Monitoring performance, working with Shopify developers and SEO consultants when appropriate

  • End-to-end management of uploading all product SKUs onto Shopify, this includes building

    product pages, formatting descriptions and overseeing imagery

  • Complete ownership of the marketing calendar; scheduling in promotions, social media campaigns, brand activations, category and product launches to deliver both customer and sales growth.

  • Analysing acquisition channel performance, determining new strategies to drive acquisition, retention and increase overall brand presence.

  • Work with the Senior team and CEO Founder to devise and execute CRM strategies, including the Aspiga Loyalty Program, to improve customer retention and repeat purchase, introducing a more strategic approach to active, lapsing and lapsed customers.

  • Analysing sales and stock data with our merchandiser on a weekly basis to drive tactical campaigns

  • Resolving website bugs, creating workarounds through basic understanding and use of HTML

  • Manage the Digital Roadmap ensuring all development is delivered on time and within budget

  • Gearing up for international website growth through global-e and expansion stores with our recent move to Shopify Plus

  • Maximise the commercial performance of the website using analytics data on traffic,

    revenue, conversion, order value, stock and product performance

  • Drive insights, actions and measurable improvements in revenue, orders, AOV and conversion rates

  • Report on product availability, ensuring the right products and depth of stock are in place

  • Ensure regular web content changes to key pages to ensure customer engagement

  • Ensure the site is merchandised so bestsellers are visible and optimised

  • Compile weekly/monthly reports on trading and KPI performance, identifying trends and opportunities

  • Increase the traffic to the site by identifying and implementing customer acquisition tactics and increasing customer RFM value.

  • Ensure the creative team is briefed in advance on content requirements and identify the right send timings for maximum revenue

  • Review and influence the Founder suggesting 3rd party tools and tech for the Brand

  • Initiate conversion-driving/sustainable developments across all digital channels (mobile/desktop/tablet)

  • Constantly improve the product conversion funnel from category view to product page carrying out A/B tests

  • Working with other applications including MentionMe (refer a friend), Swap (returns portal) and Feefo (customer reviews) to drive customer acquisition and retention

  • Proven Ecommerce trading and digital marketing experience in an SME online retailer

  • A high degree of numeracy with strong Excel and data analysis skills

  • Outstanding communication and organisation skills
