THE POSITION: CRM & EMAIL MARKETING EXEC

Established in 2005, we partner with artisans and clothing manufacturers, primarily in Kenya and India, to create contemporary and stylish clothing collections for women and men using natural, organic and sustainable materials.
Aspiga is a multi-channel retailer generating sales online, via range of wholesale relationships and a network of retail shops in the UK and one in Barbados. We focus on selling ethically sourced, beautifully designed and sustainable clothing, beachwear and accessories.

We are looking for a versatile new member of the Marketing team; a good communicator, with excellent copy writing skills, to drive our email campaigns. This person will be responsible for performance email using Klavyio and work closely with ecommerce Manager and Head of Brand Creative to deliver first class communications to our customers and improve conversion.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting into the Head of Ecommerce responsible for managing the CRM campaign strategy in line with overall business objectives and deliver agreed KPIs with the key focus to increase conversion and revenue through growing repeat purchases, AOV and LTV.
  • Working closely with the Ecommerce Team, Senior Merchandiser and Brand Creative Manager to plan, build, execute and optimise strategies for lifecycle, transactional, and promotional campaigns deployed across different channels (including email, SMS, loyalty programme etc), both for our Global and US site.
  • Execute A/B and multivariate tests to help improve campaign performance.
  • Use the customer base and insights to target customer segments with specific messages and campaigns.
  • Be responsible for expanding the customer base but adopting new trends and strategies.
  • Develop the Klavyio platform to deliver best in class marketing through automated data driven insights.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop relevant partnerships to drive Brand awareness and grow new customers.
  • Drive retention through email campaigns, identifying cohorts for performance marketing and flows as well as working with the new loyalty programme to reach its full potential.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reports focusing on CRM campaigns and database performance, feeding results back to the wider business.
  • Responsible for all email marketing, including writing copy to ensure tone of voice and visuals are in line with the brands identity.
  • Work closely with the Head of Creative Brand to create visually exciting campaigns.
  • Assist in other areas of marketing as and when required.

KEY ATTRIBUTES – we are looking for someone with…

  • Demonstrated success in a CRM position within an Ecommerce environment, ideally within a fashion digital brand.
  • Photoshop experience preferred.
  • Experience in building email campaigns and flows using Klaviyo.
  • Copywriting experience
  • Knowledge of Shopify Plus
  • Commercially minded with the ability to think creatively.
  • A data driven mindset, comfortable delving into all aspects of data, scrutinising results, identifying what works/doesn’t and new opportunities.
  • A solid understanding of segmentation strategies, user journey mapping, automation strategies and personalisation tactics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
