Aspiga is a multi-channel retailer generating sales online, via range of wholesale relationships and a network of retail shops in the UK and one in Barbados. We focus on selling ethically sourced, beautifully designed and sustainable clothing, beachwear and accessories.

THE POSITION: WHOLESALE ADMIN ASSISTANT
We are seeking a talented assistant who has a good understanding of the Wholesale Channel within a Brand , you will have a minimum of 1+ year’ experience, be a self-motivated individual who loves the sustainable fashion world, with a strong eye for detail and good communication skills.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop the Wholesale Strategy to deliver a £1m turnover target profitably and sustainably, working with the Wholesale Manager to negotiate and secure scalable growth
  • Uploading customer orders onto Brightpearl system, ensuring the right prices are charged, managing, arranging and documenting customer shipments, preparing pro-forma invoices where advance payment is required
  • Working closely with the Product team to identify key categories to offer to wholesale to grow with existing accounts and new, ensuring stock is ordered to fulfil and trade in season.
  • Booking showroom appointments and showroom diary
  • Communicating with accounts / finance dept on customer balances. Chasing customers on outstanding payments
  • Ownership of the wholesale delivery schedule managing all aspects of the delivery process to ensure that all shipments are delivered within the customers agreed delivery window.
  • Daily/weekly communication with our key wholesale accounts on reorders in season
  • Update Wholesale Reports: weekly/monthly sales overview, best and worst sellers, sell through.
  • Keeping on top of look books to promote products through e blasts and other promotional opportunities.
  • Reviewing all wholesale pricing to ensure margin and costs are delivered.
  • Identify key accounts in the UK and globally to partner with, follow up to introduce Aspiga and secure these accounts.
  • Attending Trade shows to represent the Brand, taking sales orders, developing key customer relationships with both new and existing accounts.
  • Overseeing and running the tradeshows, managing the samples and ensuring the relevant POS is available e.g. look books, pricing, order books.
  • Co-ordinating with all agents to ensure they have the correct inventory to sell and reviewing performance to drive profitable growth.

KEY ATTRIBUTES – we are looking for someone with…

  • Proven Wholesale experience in an SME / similar womenswear retailer
  • Excellent judgement, strong work ethic and close attention to detail
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves to move things forward.
  • Exemplify the culture & values of the Brand
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving is also essential
  • Good people skills - ability to liaise/negotiate with 3rd parties and work with a small team
  • Customer focussed executive who has delivered growth in a similar Brand
  • Passionate about sustainable fashion with a desire to make a difference
  • Experience of photoshop preferable but not essential
  • Excellent PC skills, including MS office and Excel (intermediate to advanced)
