20 Products to Tell Our Story: Celebrating 20 years of Aspiga

This year marks 20 years of Aspiga – two decades of craftsmanship, community and conscious fashion.

Our story began in 2005 when founder Lucy Macnamara travelled to Kenya and discovered the incredible artistry of locally made hand-beaded sandals, belts and jewellery. Inspired by these pieces, she launched Aspiga in 2006 with a small collection celebrating artisan craftsmanship and ethical production.

Since then, Aspiga has grown into a global sustainable fashion brand – designing clothing, footwear and accessories using natural materials while continuing to support artisan communities.

To celebrate this milestone, we’re sharing 20 products that tell our story – pieces that reflect our values, our heritage and the journey that brought us here.
