These scarves are made by a co-operative society which is formed by a group of Himalayan tribal women with the aim to create employment and economic development in the poor Himalayan Valleys of Manali, Kullu, and Spitti Valley.
- The society was officially registered in 2001 and now has established workshops to promote and develop the art of hand weaving.
- The society has generated employment for more than 150 families.

Each belt is carefully crafted in Kenya and takes a full day to bead. The genuine leather is sourced from a tannery in Nairobi and the leather is dyed and sun dried by our talentedArtisans. Therefore no two belts are the same.
