Established in 2006, Aspiga is a responsible fashion brand that continues to lead the way in sustainable and ethical fashion - putting people and our planet first.
Aspiga partners with artisans and suppliers, primarily in Kenya and India, to create stylish clothing collections using natural, organic and sustainable materials. Having started as a wholesale business, Aspiga expanded into the online retail space before opening its first shop in 2019. Since that success, we have opened further stores, with our Edinburgh site being an important step for us with huge potential to further develop the Aspiga profile amongst local customers.
THE ROLE: E-commerce Trading Coordinator
We are looking for a proactive E-commerce Trading Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Shopify Plus store. This is a pivotal role for someone who is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and enjoys the fast-paced nature of fashion retail.
You will be the bridge between our creative dreams and digital reality - working closely with the Marketing and Graphics teams to launch campaigns to ensure the customer journey is seamless.
The ideal candidate will have:

Shopify Experience: At least 2 years of experience working within the Shopify ecosystem.

Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with data entry and basic performance reporting.

Tech Literacy: Proficiency in Google Workspace/Excel and a knowledge in AI tools to speed up workflows.

Collaborative Spirit: Experience in a start-up or small brand environment is a major plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shopify & Site Maintenance

Product Launches: Managing the end-to-end upload process for new collections, including SEO-friendly descriptions, tagging, and collection architecture.

PDP Optimisation: Working with the graphics team to ensure high-quality imagery, video content, and "Aspiga Loves" lifestyle assets are correctly formatted and live on PDPs.

Merchandising: Using Shopify tools to ensure products are displayed effectively to maximise conversion.
CRM & Email Marketing:

Reporting into the Head of Ecommerce responsible for managing the CRM campaign strategy in line with overall business objectives and deliver agreed KPIs with the key focus to increase conversion and revenue through growing repeat purchases, AOV and LTV.

Working closely with the Ecommerce Team, Senior Merchandiser and Brand Creative Manager to plan, build, execute and optimise strategies for lifecycle, transactional, and promotional campaigns deployed across different channels (including email, SMS, loyalty programme etc), both for our Global and US site.

Work closely with the Graphics Team to generate appropriately timed and visually enticing email content.

Execute A/B and multivariate tests to help improve campaign performance.

Use the customer base and insights to target customer segments with specific messages and campaigns.

Be responsible for expanding the customer base by adopting new trends and strategies.

Develop the Klavyio platform to deliver best in class marketing through automated data driven insights.

Work with the Marketing Team to develop relevant partnerships to drive Brand awareness and grow new customers.

Drive retention through email campaigns, identifying cohorts for performance marketing and flows as well as working with the new loyalty programme to reach its full potential.

Deliver weekly and monthly reports focusing on CRM campaigns and database performance, feeding results back to the wider business.
Marketing Support

Campaign Execution: Assisting the Marketing team in setting up promotional codes, landing pages, and coordinating the digital assets for bi-monthly launches.

Cross-Functional Liaison: Acting as the point of contact between Buyers, Graphics, and Digital teams to ensure seasonal store assets and online promotions are aligned.
Operational Excellence

AI Integration: Utilising AI tools to streamline product copywriting, image alt-text, and workflow automation.

Quality Control: Conducting regular site "walk-throughs" to spot broken links, formatting errors, or out-of-stock items that need hiding.
KEY REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience: 1+ years in an Ecommerce or Digital Marketing role.

Software: Proficiency in Shopify, Google Sheets/Excel

Creative Eye: While you aren't the lead designer, you should have a "feel" for the Aspiga aesthetic and basic skills in Canva or Adobe Express for quick crops/resizes.

Soft Skills: A "can-do" attitude, a sense of urgency regarding deadlines, and the ability to pivot quickly when priorities change.
