Aspiga currently have a vacancy for a Design Intern working within the Buying and Design Team. The role is due to start June / July 2024 and is ideal for a 2nd Year Undergraduate in a relevant degree.

The Role: Fashion Design Intern

Ideally 1 year placement 

Learn about the design process, print and textiles for a sustainable fashion Brand.
This role will involve you in the entire design process from initial research, concept & seasonal colour to design, development, and final product. Supporting the team, responsibilities will include collating research for mood boards, working on product CADS and range boards ready to present to wider department and founder, along with assisting with print artwork and embroidery designs. 

Projects you will work on include:

• Introduction to the design process from initial research to final product.
• Learn about the product lifecycle and engage with the buying & technical team to support the development process.
• Working on technical specifications, CADS, print & embroidery specs.

Experience and skills must include:

• Knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator.
• An existing fashion design portfolio (from university is sufficient)
