She's Electric: A Day at Daylesford Organic Farm Shop
She’s Electric at Daylesford: In Conversation with Liz Earle, Our Woman of Impact
Dubbed as the ‘She’s Electric’ event with Volvo at the bucolic Daylesford Organic Farm Shop, our fabulous Aspiga ambassadors for the day, Claire Chambers and Lucy Sealey, report that it was a day to raise a toast to like-minded brands championing sustainability in fashion.
There was an exceptional speaker lineup, including one of our ‘women of impact,’ Jo Elvin. Jo spoke on all things eco-conscious, noting that rather than treating lifestyle and sustainability as disparate things, an attitude that integrates them is the cutting edge and essential way forward. Taking on wider significance when put into the context of the pervasive world of fast fashion and the all too easy tendency of ‘green washing’ within larger retail chains, for those who missed our profile on Jo, we've attached it for your ease here.
To add to the excitement, Grace Fodor of Studio 10 Makeup was in attendance and rumor has it that there might be an upcoming event at our King's Road store- 'watch this space...' in Claire's very own words!
Over the past decade, there has been an indisputable surge in eco-conscious fashion and lifestyle. From the successful boom of pre-loved platforms such as Depop and Vinted, to Volvo's new line of electric vehicles as demonstrated at 'She's Electric,' the focus is on leading materials new, majestic leases of life in sustainable ways. Yet 2025 studies are still finding no less than a chasm between consumers intention to purchase eco-friendly items, and consumers actually acting upon it.
'She's Electric' focused on celebrating strong, trustworthy relationships with fellow eco-friendly brands, and provided a platform to talk about the challenges in sustainable businesses and lifestyle as a whole. Throughout the day, one thing was clear: the potential of sustainable lifestyle and fashion is still overwhelming.
Some of our favourite eco-conscious pieces starred in our one-day pop-up at 'She's Electric'. It was fleeting but perfectly gorgeous display for a little less than 12 hours. For those of you who would like a second (or previously missed!) glance, we have curated a selection of pieces for you to view below...

Appreciation for our Ecovero™ Viscose
Our EcoVero fabric could never have the credit and craze it deserves. We use LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose, which has a much smaller environmental footprint than traditional viscose. It's a lightweight and breathable fabric to wear; more than complementary in dressy scenarios, and it's the antidote that you need for suffocating summer and holiday heat.
From left to right: the Maeve EcoVero Dress (Lace Floral Pink/White) and the Eliza EcoVero Shirt Dress (Blue/White).
