What It Really Means to Be a B Corp Fashion Brand

March marks B Corp Month - a global celebration of businesses using their platform as a force for good. As a proud certified B Corporation, we want to go beyond the logo and explain what this truly means for Aspiga, for our customers, and for the future of fashion.

Because B Corp isn’t a marketing line. It’s a legal and operational commitment.

What Is a B Corp?

Certified B Corporations are companies verified by B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

To achieve certification, businesses are assessed across five key areas:

1) Governance  2) Workers 3) Community 4) Environment 5) Customers

It’s about balancing purpose and profit and embedding responsibility into the core of how a company operates.

In 2022, Aspiga earned B Corp certification with a score of 98.9, becoming one of the early UK fashion brands to achieve this milestone. In 2025, we were re-certified with an even higher score of 106.7, a reflection of our commitment to continuous improvement.

Because this isn’t a one-time achievement. Every three years, B Corps must undergo rigorous reassessment to maintain certification.

Sustainability Has Been in Our DNA From Day One

Long before certifications became industry talking points, Aspiga was built around the belief that fashion can and should be a force for good.

Being a B Corp doesn’t change who we are. It validates who we’ve always been and holds us accountable to keep raising the bar.

For us, that means focusing on three fundamental pillars:
