THE POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCE & RECRUITMENT ASSISTANT

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked in HR for an SME Retailer to now work for a fast paced, growth business focused on ethical and sustainable fashion.

Aspiga is looking for an individual who will be instrumental in recruiting for our growing HQ and Retail channel, ensuring staffing and HR processes and operations are met delivering a best-in-class CX which reflects our ethical brand.

You will ensure high standards are adopted within all elements of HR.

Working alongside the Senior executive team and CEO, you will be responsible for recruiting for our retail channel including managers and staff as we open new stores.

This role will be based in our Battersea offices with some travel to stores in UK

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE

  • Recruit relevant managers for shops, all shop hires through job advertising and networking to ensure we set clear standards of working across the Retail channel.
  • Completing all first interviews and liaising with the Retail team on selection and hiring
  • Working with the HR consultant to recruit for key hires in HQ.
  • Ensuring effective onboarding process, co-ordinate HR inductions, complete reference requests and right-to-work checks
  • Produce letters and contracts of employment for any changes in employees’ terms and conditions of employment including annual and ad hoc salary increases.
  • Update the HR system, including data entry and resolving queries, run reports and provide information as and when required.
  • Maintain the HR databases and employee records

    KEY ATTRIBUTES – we are looking for someone with…

    • Proven HR skills preferably for a SME Retailer, an HR generalist experience working as HR Assistant
    • CPID qualified, or working towards certificate
    • Passionate about sustainable fashion with a desire to make a difference and give back.
    • Operational excellence and best in class customer service
    • Exceptional organisational skills
    • Ability to establish rapport, build trust and demonstrate credibility.
    • Excellent communication skills and confident in speaking to people face to face, over the telephone, and by email.
    • Be able to demonstrate your initiative to solve problems.
    • Be flexible and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
    • Excellent HR IT skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
    • Demonstrate discretion when dealing with confidential information.
